BioActiv & Bioresearch Marketing and Sales policy
For 30 years, BioActiv Health Care has been dedicated to the development and manufacture of high-quality, evidence-informed nutritional and herbal formulations designed to support clinical practice and professional health care outcomes.
From its inception, BioActiv has operated with a practitioner-led philosophy, grounded in education, integrity, and responsible use. Our products are formulated with the expectation that they are recommended, dispensed, or explained by qualified health professionals who can provide appropriate guidance based on individual needs.
Marketing & Distribution Principles
BioActiv Health Care products are not mass-market supplements. They are intentionally positioned to:
• Be supported by professional education and clinical understanding
• Maintain clear, compliant communication around ingredients and intended use
• Avoid commoditisation, discount-driven retailing, and inappropriate claims
As such, BioActiv products are not intended for unrestricted retail, marketplace platforms, or impulse consumer channels where professional context, education, and oversight are absent.
Dispensary & In-Practice Handling
In alignment with practitioner-only brand standards and to preserve appropriate use, BioActiv products should be stored and supplied in a controlled manner.
- Products should be kept within a dispensary, behind a counter, or otherwise out of reach of customer self-selection.
- Products are to be dispensed, recommended, or supplied following practitioner consultation or professional guidance.
- Avoid open shelf placement that allows unrestricted consumer access, even within clinical or pharmacy environments.
Approved Channels
BioActiv products should be found exclusively or primarily within:
- Registered health care practices
- Practitioner-only dispensaries and clinics
- Approved professional wholesale partners
- Controlled pharmacy or health-care aligned environments where staff are trained on the range and the products are prescribed to customers.
Restricted Channels
To protect brand integrity, practitioner trust, and patient outcomes, BioActiv products should not be marketed or distributed through:
• Any platform without practitioner prescribing
• Open online marketplaces (e.g. mass e-commerce platforms)
• Discount-driven retail chains
• Unauthorised third-party sellers
• Channels that prioritise price competition over education and care
Our Commitment
BioActiv Health Care remains committed to:
• Supporting practitioners with education, transparency, and consistency
• Upholding ethical marketing standards aligned with regulatory expectations
• Preserving the clinical credibility built over three decades
This approach ensures BioActiv products continue to be recognised not simply as supplements, but as professional health care tools, trusted by practitioners and respected within the industry.
